The dataset documents enacted PADDD events (i.e., events that have been passed into law), but does not include proposed PADDD events (i.e., proposed legal changes under formal consideration by government authorities</SPAN><SPAN>; available in Brazil only</SPAN><SPAN>).</SPAN></P><P /><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>Differences between Version 1.0 and Version 1.1:</SPAN></SPAN></P><P /><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>Version 1.0 contains data on PADDD from Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, spanning from 1900 to 2012. </SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>Version 1.1 added point records for PADDD events in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and polygon datafor PADDD events in Peru and Brazil.
